Wedding Day Gorgeous
While thumbing through numerous bridal magazines, I often find that I am not very impressed with the dresses I see. Aside from the endless unflattering Bridesmaid dresses, I think the Brides’ dress should really be something special. For my prom in high school, I felt the same way. There was never anything that stood out and made me say “Yes, that one!” I ended up sketching out my own dress and my mom sewed it for me. Y A Y! It was awesome, and it was all me. I kinda reminded me of a wedding dress now that I think about it. I opted for white that year since I was notorious for wearing black. I truly wanted something different.
I came across a peek of Wang’s Wedding gowns for 2010. Let me just say, this woman deserves all the credit she receives! These dresses are insanely beautiful. Breathtaking. At least for me. Here, take a look.

Apparently she has also lowerd her prices. Her dresses normally go for $13,000 and now some are $7,000. Still a chunk of change, but she rocks for doing it! These dresses are like paintings. So many layers and details creating a delicious texture. Lots of dresses are doing this whole “unfinished” look but not really pulling it off {my opinion}. Vera creates the look with such care and precision. She also broke the mold and designed a black wedding dress and some with pinks and greens. I love it. Dare to be different. Dare to be YOU.
