Custom Business Card Design: Choreographer

I just finished designing some awesome business cards for my friend Ashley Jones, who is a dancer and teaches various forms of dance. It was fun doing research on ballet and all of the whimsical elements that can be associated with the movement of dance. She told me she really liked the Heart Pattern Wedding Stationery Set designed for my Ready-Made collection. She wanted something like that with either stars or some other element using pink and black and if we could, space on the back to write a note. She also wanted to use “Jonesin’ To Dance” as her company name. How cute it that?!

This design really shows her use of stars, the colors she wanted and space to write a note. Then, there was also this option:

Awesome, sexy and to the pointe! {*wink} Finally, there was this option. Using a vintage clip art image of a woman doing ballet in a tulle skirt, vintage damask wallpaper pattern and the bold colors she wanted! I even had enough room for space to fill in the note! I love the typography for “Jonesin’ To Dance” used here. Almost perfect!

For the final design we ended up combining the front and back of two different options. I think this final solution turned out perfectly! What do you think?
